England and Wales are cool, but Scotland has it in for the dicky-waivers.
Justin Holwell stripped off in London’s Trafalgar Square and was not arrested, even when police were called in.
Now, if he’d have gone nude simply to piss people off, he might well be incarcerated.
It’s a fine line between a good time and causing “alarm or distress.”
Here in the U.S., you could be busting a kidney, but taking a wee in public would likely see you hauled off to the hoosegow. We’re a very uptight nation.
That’s just one more reason I’d like to move across the pond. Because I like the idea of stripping off in front of Buckingham Palace. And even though I would never do it, it’s nice to know I could, and probably avoid jail-time.
