COLORS AS SOUNDS?
SOUND CAN BE VISUAL according to this TED.com lecture I saw on illusions:
BEAU LOTTO LECTURE ON OPTICAL ILLUSIONS
HIS LECTURE IS CONFUSING but I’ve been reading about GESTALT THEORY and Brown’s LAW:
That the velocity of moving objects is dependent on other factors, notably the size of the objects, the field and their illumination. MAYBE THIS EXPLAINS WHY SHAUN WHITE SHORTED THAT LAST JUMP DURING THAT X GAMES VIDEO I POSTED (THE POST: “HACKY SACK IS NOT AS FUN ALONE”….LISTEN TO THE COMMENTATORS!)
BROWN STATES: INCREASING IN ILLUMINATION DECREASES THE APPARENT VELOCITY OF MOVING OBJECTS
(so driving at night one often seems to be traveling more quickly than at a corresponding speed during the day, SO YOU MAY GO SLOWER AS A FORM OF BEHAVIORAL COMPENSATION)
SO IS APPARENT VELOCITY RELATIVE TO THE PERCEPTION OF THE FALL OR RISE OF AN OBJECT?
AN OPTICAL ILLUSION SPINNING LEFT OR RIGHT IF YOU WILL…..YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND IF YOU WATCHED THE LOTTO LECTURE.
I QUITE LIKE THIS MUSIC VIDEO:
AND CEREAL….YUM YUM!

WHY DO RICE KRISPIES GO SNAP, KRACKLE, POP!
